In order to preserve the historical document, it is microfilmed on two occasions. The number 372023 is stamped on the letter in 1946, when US investigators photograph each page of the “Final Solution” file. In 1956 the letter is then microfilmed again, this time for the Israeli government, and given the number K210399.
